About
Hi There!
Look at you reading all the fine print! My name is Annalee and I feel lucky to call Butte, MT my home. I’ve been working in the Communications world for my entire career. I started working in high-tech Public Relations representing OEM semiconductor manufacturers. From there I moved into Marketing for new home builders. I’ve held Community Relations positions in the non-profit, education, and senior living sectors. I currently work as a Technical Writer for the State of Montana.
I love helping bring new ideas to life. I particularly like taking big, complex ideas and distilling them down into something that’s easy to understand and clearly communicate. I’ve always been good at taking one piece of the puzzle and connecting it to the big picture. Although I am a strategist and writer at heart, I’ve done everything from branding to special events. I started Copper Bee Creative as a way to help my friends get the word out about all the cool things they were doing, and I would love to help you do the same.
I want to make a difference
If you live in SW Montana, you may have seen the signs I created. I was frustrated with the Supreme Court’s decision, and I needed to do something. I created this design, had it made into yard signs, and sold them to raise money for the Susan Wicklund Fund.
It’s not all about the business idea or making a profit. Sometimes good ideas, ideas that benefit a project, a demographic, or the community as a whole are worth pursuing. If you have something that you are passionate about, reach out and let’s discuss it. I would love to help you make a difference too.
Experienced
From high-tech to highly human, I’ve been involved in communication projects in almost every sector. I’ve spent more than 25 years working in the communications field.
Versatile
I’ve been at the top lining out strategies, and I’ve been in the trenches carrying out tactics. I can help you envision the big picture or plan down to the smallest detail.
Collaborative
Planning, writing, designing – I’ve got you covered. And if I don’t, I know someone who does. Making connections to move everyone forward is always my goal.
